Wow! A librarian on the Global Frequency! And why not? Are we not the fonts of all knowledge? Or pretend to be? (Actually I distinctly remember one of the people used in the GF pilot worked at the Library of Congress, so it really isn't that out of the realm of possibility.)

liviapenn lamented the Global Frequency tv pilot. Then dafnap suggested the idea of the GF phone as the ultimate crossover device. And handed me a bunny for a fandom that is supposed to be my non-participatory fandom. *glares at Sam and lingers over Dean* I still have a whole season and change to finish watching! I've already started writing it in my head.

According to Comic Book Resources, Warren Ellis has posted some depressing news on "Global Frequency" on his email list:

Bad news for "Gotham Central" fans. Greg Rucka confirmed on his forum that Michael Lark was indeed leaving for an exclusive two year deal with Marvel. His last issue will be #25, which comes out this coming week. All I can say for DC is they'd better release the rest of trades. It never fails. More info on WB's planned "Global Frequency" tv series. I'm already nervous seeing some of the character choices, like the "talented amateurs". Major question is who they'll get for Miranda Zero and will they "soften" her for tv audiences?
